My words. The following is a collection of personal poems and essays inspired by my experiences in life, love and faith. I’ve been writing for most of my life and I can say that there have been times that I’ve been so overwhelmed by an experience or emotion that only writing helps me release it. I find that in any form of art, expressing emotions through such a release connects the artist to others on a personal level. I bring you to a place deep inside, an honest place, that you may be familiar with. And in that familiarity, we connect. My hope is that through my words, you can find your own release and maybe, just maybe, be inspired to express it in your own form of art.

I throughly enjoyed this book. Not only was the content relatable, it moved me to think about my relationships, my beliefs, my love, and my role in this journey called life. The author's candid messages in each writing leads one to reach down deep and feel emotions that already exists or ones that are suppressed. I was moved beyond words. Great read!
Reading this book took me to such a place of peace. Notice I said "Peace" and not "Comfort". Here's what I mean I was able to feel, and connect with the words, that triggered so many memories, and thoughts...Which sometimes was uncomfortable, yet I was able to find peace in that discomfort, knowing a book has put into words, a story that was Me...I love how the Author doesn't tell you any answers, rather leads you to them. It's a journey through expressions of words, and long before you reach the end you realize what the answer are...you continue to read and you now believe those answers...
